Al spent more than 17 years working the oil patch out of Fort McMurray — well pads, lease construction, pipeline right-of-ways, mine support, access roads and heavy civil earthwork. That work happens in muskeg, in frost, in the rain, on shutdown clocks with crews waiting on the dirt to be ready.
It teaches a specific set of skills: read the ground, pick the right machine, get the grade and the drainage right, and keep everyone safe while you do it. Nothing about the patch rewards guessing.
Al’s Excavating brings that standard to local work. Whether it’s a basement excavation in Timberlea, a drainage fix behind a shop in Gregoire, or a lease pad north of town, the approach is the same — plan the dirt, do it once, leave the site clean.
